Andrew Jung is a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) and Doctor of Physical Therapy student in the Hybrid Pathway at the University of Southern California (USC), where he serves as Class President for the Cohort of 2026.
Andrew specializes in powerlifting, plyometrics, strength & conditioning, weight loss, and therapeutic exercise. Drawing from a diverse background that includes athletic training, martial arts, performing arts, and motorsports, he brings a unique and dynamic perspective to fitness. His experience spans working with clients ranging from children as young as 5-9 to adults in their 60s and 70s, tailoring programs to meet their individual needs.
At USC’s Recreational Sports Division, Andrew has mentored novice personal trainers since 2021, developing their skills and contributing to continuing education initiatives focused on effective training techniques and client care. As an undergraduate, he demonstrated exceptional leadership as team captain for USC Powerlifting, organizing and leading seminars on lifting biomechanics, injury prevention, and advanced strength training strategies.
Andrew’s passion for teaching and client empowerment is matched by his dedication to client-centered, evidence-based practice. He tailors each program to help clients safely build strength, confidence, and mastery over their bodies. Aspiring to bridge his personal training expertise with insights from athletic trainers, physical therapists, and researchers at USC, Andrew aims to become a clinical conduit—delivering a comprehensive and exceptional experience for his clients.
